| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Zaps (capital Z) | The platform. The reputation and capital allocation network for onchain trading communities, built by Zeru. |
| zaps (lowercase) | The internal currency. Earned through trading, spent on fees, locks, and burns. Not a token, cannot be traded, withdrawn, or sold. More |
| Clan | A trading community with one KOL as leader. One X account joins one clan. More |
| KOL | A trading voice whose calls are tracked and verified. KOLs prove calls. This is the only word Zaps uses for them. |
| Trader Score | Every wallet's core score, 0 to 1000: trading performance, zScore, peer trust, contribution, and presence. More |
| KOL Score | A clan leader's second score, 0 to 1000: call attribution, community quality, conviction. Never blended with their Trader Score. More |
| zScore | Zeru's behavioral trust score for a wallet's entire DeFi history. Runs silently under Zaps. More |
| $ZERU | The separate network token. Governance and fee burn only. No conversion path to or from zaps. More |
| Call | A KOL's public trade recommendation on X, detected and tracked automatically. More |
| Call Card | The auto-generated public record of a call: entry, followers, settled outcome. Cannot be edited. The atomic social object of Zaps. |
| Attribution window | The period after a call during which followers' trades in the called token attribute to that call. |
| Endorsement | A public +1 on someone's reputation, weighted by the endorser's Trader Score. Costs a small action fee. More |
| Challenge | Public, on-the-record doubt with a reason attached. Weighted, same fee. Distinct from a formal dispute. |
| Challenge & Defense Stake | The formal dispute. Accuser and KOL both lock zaps. The loser's stake transfers to the winner. Open to anyone. |
| Experience Report | A verified clan member's account of trading with a KOL, anchored to onchain history. The highest trust signal. |
| Vouch | Burning zaps on a KOL's name, permanently. The backer earns the Early Backer badge, the KOL earns Conviction. |
| Conviction | The running total of zaps burned on a KOL by backers. Many small backers outweigh one large one. |
| Self-stake | A KOL locking zaps on their own name for 30 days. Public Staked badge while locked. Burns permanently if slashed. |
| Slash | The penalty for a lost defense. Locked zaps burn, and the profile shows a flag while the slash is active. |
| Distrusted / Discredited | Status flags, not score bands. Shown instead of the tier during an active slash or mute, and cleared the moment it ends. |
| Welcome grant | The first zaps a wallet receives, on first connection, computed from its existing history. Up to 100 zaps, once per wallet. |
| Growth Leaderboard | The daily clan competition on verified new members. A 10,000 zaps pool pays every growing clan, 30% to the KOL, 70% to members. More |
| Growth Cup | The Monday roll-up of the week's growth rankings. |
| Clan Tier | Status from held zaps: Initiate, Climber, Operator, Veteran, Legend. Badges permanent, privileges live. More |
| Founding Trader | The permanent badge of the 500 original zScore NFT minters who seeded Zaps. |
| Early Backer | The permanent, timestamped badge earned by vouching for a KOL. |
| Ghost profile | A KOL profile built from public X data before the KOL claims it. Your record starts before you arrive. |
| Token page | Asset-first discovery: one page per token with weighted sentiment and live tracked trades. More |
| Token Volume Campaign | A campaign type: a protocol funds verified volume in its token. More |
| Trading Competition Campaign | A campaign type: a venue hosts clans competing on venue volume. |
| Proof report | The public, onchain report ending every campaign: volume, wallet quality, sybil rate, sell pressure. More |
| Post-Reward Sell Check | The mechanism that prices reward-dumping into a wallet's next-campaign eligibility. Never a clawback. |
