How Zaps Works

Clans

A trading community with one KOL as leader, a live feed, and a scoreboard.

Live now

A clan is a trading community on Zaps. One KOL leads it. The members are traders who connected X and joined. The clan page is the community's home: the member leaderboard, the live feed of endorsements and challenges, and the two numbers that matter, the KOL's score and the community's quality.

One X account, one clan

Your X account is your identity on Zaps, and one X account joins exactly one clan. You can link many wallets to that one identity, and all of them count for your clan. What you cannot do is split yourself across clans or farm rewards from several rooms at once.

One X account · One clan · Many wallets

This rule is what makes clan membership mean something. Joining is a commitment, and everything you earn and prove rolls up to one name.

Public and private clans

Every clan sets its own entry fee in zaps, chosen by the KOL.

How joining works
Public clanPay the entry fee, you are in instantly. No approval needed.
Private clanThe fee is held with your request. The KOL approves or denies. Denied requests refund the fee automatically.

Entry fees exist to keep joins real. They are a zaps sink, not a revenue stream, and they make spam joins expensive.

What the clan knows about you

Once you join, the clan page recognizes you: your Clan Tier badge, your progress to the next tier, and your rank on the clan board. Your row pins to the top of the member leaderboard when you view your own clan.

How the roster stays honest

Clan quality on Zaps is computed from verified members only. A thousand bot accounts add exactly zero to a clan's quality score, because accounts without real onchain history do not count. The KOL cannot remove members by hand in V1, and does not need to: the reputation system polices the roster. See KOL Score for how community quality is measured.
