KOL Score
The clan leader's second score. Can this person's calls, and this person's community, be trusted?
Clan leaders hold two scores. Their own Trader Score, because a KOL is still a trader with their own money on the line. And a KOL Score, which answers a different question: not "is this a good trader" but "can this person's calls and this person's community be trusted."
The two are never blended into one number. Both use the same 0 to 1000 scale, and both are always shown separately.
What builds it
- 50%Call Attribution· the share of your tracked calls that made your clan money. Weight grows as your record matures
- 35%Community Quality· the verified strength of the clan itself, live from day one
- 15%Conviction· zaps your backers have burned on you, permanently
Call Attribution is the heaviest input once a record exists: the share of your tracked calls that were profitable for the clan members who traded them. Losses count. Sample size counts. A perfect record over 2 calls cannot outrank a strong record over 40.
Community Quality measures the clan itself, computed from the verified strength of its active members. Many solid members outweigh one whale, and accounts without real history count for exactly zero. This input is live from day one, before a single call is posted.
Conviction is the running total of zaps your backers have burned on you through vouching. Burns are permanent, and broad belief from many established backers counts for far more than one large burn.
Honest from a cold start
A new KOL has no tracked calls, so the weights shift with maturity: community quality carries the score early, and call performance takes over as real evidence accumulates. A new KOL with a genuinely strong community is Promising, not buried at zero. A KOL whose calls keep losing settles down as the record grows. The score never punishes you for being new. It only ever reflects what is on the record.
The tiers
Discredited is a flag, not a tier. It appears only during an active slash and overrides the displayed tier. When the slash ends, the real number returns unchanged. Slash events themselves stay on the record permanently.
How to raise it
- Call Attribution · post calls you would act on yourself. They are tracked automatically once your X is connected, and the record builds itself.
- Community Quality · recruit real traders and keep them engaged. Padding the roster with weak accounts adds nothing, literally.
- Conviction · deliver consistently and your community will show it, by burning zaps on your name where everyone can see it.
