Campaign Types
Token Volume or Trading Competition. Two shapes, one engine.
Every Zaps campaign is one of two types. The mechanism underneath is identical, verified clans compete for rewards distributed by real trading activity. What differs is what you are buying.
Token Volume Campaign
For protocols that want their token traded. You are a newly launched or growing protocol and you want genuine trading volume in your token, held by real hands, not extracted and dumped.
You set the token, chain, budget, duration, and minimum clan tier. Qualifying clans see the campaign, their traders trade your token wherever they already trade, and rewards flow automatically, weighted by verified activity. Wash volume scores zero, and post-reward dumping is tracked and reported.
Trading Competition Campaign
For venues that want activity. You are a DEX, a perps platform, or any trading venue, and you want volume on your venue. Trading communities already run informal competitions constantly. Zaps productizes the behavior: clans compete on total verified volume on your venue, live, with a public scoreboard.
This is the most natural campaign type in crypto because the audience already does it for fun. Zaps adds what the informal version never had: verified community quality, onchain attribution, sybil filtering, and automatic reward distribution.
Choosing
| Token Volume | Trading Competition | |
|---|---|---|
| You are | A protocol with a token | A venue with an order book |
| You buy | Volume in your asset | Activity on your platform |
| Clans compete | For share of verified volume in the token | Head-to-head on venue volume |
| The natural first fit | New token launches | Venues that already run competitions |
Both types end with the same proof report, and both use identical anti-gaming math. If your goal fits neither shape cleanly, talk to us.
